COVID restrictions meant that Steve & Gemma couldn't meet in person for months. So they spent hour after hour chatting on video calls when Gemma was living at Jodie's. When they eventually met, Steve was very nervous and excited! For Gemma, it was just another date, albeit with a total fruit!
Going to Dubai
Boris Johnson announced the 3rd lockdown on 4th January 2021. Within minutes of the announcement, Steve called Gemma as they had discussed leaving the UK if another lockdown was announced. At that time, only Dubai and Barbados were accepting UK residents into their country. Long story short, we had 21 hours to leave the UK and agreed to jet off to Dubai for a month. When Steve picked Gemma up from her house, it was just the 4th time they had met in person.
Having agreed to stay in Dubai for a month, Steve came home and Gemma, being Gemma, stayed in Dubai for nearly a year. During that time, Gemma worked for Steve remotely from Dubai, so lines of communication were kept wide open. One day when they spoke, Gemma said "I'm coming home." Steve was floored and asked why. Gemma said "I'm coming back and I'm coming back to make a beeline for you." Steve was floored a second time, not believing his luck! After nearly a year apart, they were reunited.
Having returned from Dubai, Gemma did indeed make her beeline for Steve and that leads us ultimately, to this week! Having forged a strong bond, having seen the best and worst of circumstances together and having travelled A LOT together, Steve & Gemma decided that this was the life for them. Steve proposed to Gemma on 16th November 2024 in the High Roller big wheel in Las Vegas. It is that moment that led you to our wedding website!
For many of you, this is where your week in Vegas begins! Please provide your flight number in your RSVP. If possible, Steve & Gemma would like to pick as many up as possible from the airport and take you to your accommodation.

The drinking begins at Atomic Golf. We are paying for you all to have unlimited food, unlimited drink and unlimited golf for 2 whole hours!
After this, who knows where we will all end up and what states we will get in, but all of it will be happening in some of our favourite bars!
You may want a lie-in, so today, you have all day to recover and chill out!
The Wedding Ceremony (performed by the actual Elvis himself!) will commence at 1pm. We suggest all guests arrive at the chapel no later than 12:45pm please! We will meet you at the chapel and we're gonna get mahhaahhhrried!
Hop on our wedding coach and be driven to the world’s biggest In ‘n’ Out diner on the Las Vegas strip for a Double Double Animal Style with Animal Style Fries! You haven’t had a burger until you’ve had an In ‘n’ Out! You might want to Google their 'SECRET' menu! 😉
We will be transporting everyone out to the desert for the most romantic part of the day and enjoy a stunning Las Vegas sunset, champagne in hand!
